Selected students can attend the Deloitte National Leadership Conference 2009 in Arizona!
The Deloitte National Leadership Conference is a multi-day event for selected students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a keen interest in business/professional services. Students from several colleges and universities will be involved in workshops and activities geared towards bringing out their leadership, team-building, interpersonal and negotiation skills and potential. In addition, students will have numerous opportunities to network and interact with Deloitte professionals of all levels, ranging from manager to partner from across the U.S. We can guarantee that our conference will be one of the most exciting and rewarding learning experiences you will ever encounter outside of the classroom! All of this is at no cost to you!
The conference is scheduled for July 14 - 17, 2009 in Arizona
Application Deadline: March 1 (The profile at http://careers.deloitte.com serves as your application)
Deloitte covers the cost of attendance at the conference; and the cost of the flight and transportation to and from the airport in Arizona. You are able to choose the airport from which you fly out of however you are responsible for the cost of travel to and from the airport in your city.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science/Business Administration or Master of Science in Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, Finance.
Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.3)
Sophomore or Junior Level students studying business
Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
Willingness to travel for out-of-town engagements
