Peer Mentors
Chicago Scholars' peer mentoring program is designed to help smooth our students' entrance into college and ensure their graduation.
Oftentimes, the transition from high school to college is tumultuous, especially when new students lack a support system to turn to. The peer mentoring program, however, provides new college students with that support system and, in doing so, allows our Scholars the opportunity to integrate into campus life much more easily.
At the same time, our peer mentoring program gives our older Scholars the chance to mentor younger cohorts--a process that reinforces the Chicago Scholars culture and provides Scholars with additional leadership and mentorship responsibilities.
