My Name: Lynn Gerbec

High School:  Northside College Prep High School, Class of 2003

College/Major:  Oberlin College/ Psychology, Class of 2007

Favorite Class/Activity:  Lacrosse is my favorite activity, and Human Rights, Universalism, and Cultural Relativism in the field of anthropology is my favorite class.

Most memorable college experience to date:  Going to Drag Ball- an event at my college where the guys dress like girls and the girls dress like guys, and students perform, dance, and have a good time.

Favorite way to relax:  Watching T.V. with my housemates

Favorite book:  There are too many to name, but a few of my favorites are My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoulti, Pride and Prejudice by Jan Austen, and the Lords of Discipline by Pat Conroy.

My dream profession:  Child Psychologist

Future plans:  I might do Teach for America and then get my masters in social work.

Key insight to college freshmen:  Join as many activities as you can.  It is a great way to meet people who share your common interests.   

My hero:  Anyone who stands up for what they believe in spite of adversity.
