Chicago Scholars congratulates the Class of 2015 for their achievements! After spending the summer months preparing their college applications and submitting them in the early fall to colleges and universities across the U.S., our students have successfully completed this year's 4th Annual Onsite Admissions Forum!

The Onsite Admissions Forum is a unique opportunity for each of our students to apply and receive admissions decisions from up to five "good-fit" colleges or universities ahead of the traditional admissions timeframe.

We are excited to share with you a breakdown of how all our young people benefited from this opportunity:

Over 330 students participated in the Onsite. They hail from 88 public, private and parochial high schools across Chicago and  represent the collaborative efforts of the following partner organizations:

  • Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID)
  • The Chicago Urban League
  • Chicago Scholars
  • CircEsteem
  • College Bound Oportunities
  • Kappa Leadership Institute (Chicago)
  • LINK Unlimited
  • Prosser High School - International Baccalaureate Program
  • ShoreBank Scholars
  • University of Illinois at Chicago - CHANCE Learning Center
  • Urban Students Empowered
  • World Sport Chicago
This year 53 selective and highly-selective colleges and universities from across the U.S. participated at the Onsite and interviewed our students. By the end of the day, 34 of the schools provided admissions decisions and awarded over $3.4 million in scholarships and additional financial support*!

We are tremendously proud of our scholars and thank all of our partners, volunteers, high school counselors and mentors who helped make this event possible. Join us in celebrating the success of our scholars, their families, high schools, and city!
