Two Chicago Scholars, Derrius Quarles and Chanta Williams, were present at The 13th Annual National Black Herstory Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia on March 26, 2010. Derrius Quarles was awarded a "Dr. Beverly L. Hall Young Adult Award."
