Scholar-Mentor Cohort Breakfast 2011
Meeting your cohort, naming your team, group photos, and receiving the information packed Scholars' Handbook were the highlights on the morning of Saturday, June 4, 2011 when Mentors and students from the Chicago Scholars Class of 2016 met for the first time at the Conaway Center on the campus of Columbia College Chicago.
The Conaway Center was filled with energy, enthusiasm and a constant buzz of conversation as introductions were made and team spirit took root. "Where did you go to college and what did you bring with you that you couldn't live without?" were among the questions asked by students of their mentors, and "if you could go anywhere in the world right now where would that be?" was posed to students by many Mentors.
It was a great beginning to the year-long journey to college for Students and their Mentors. A few photos of the morning are below.

Chicago Scholars and World Sport Chicago Scholars in the Class of 2015 had their introductory meeting on June 12th, 2010. We wish our mentors and scholars a productive and exciting year as they collaborate on a big step in our scholars' lives: transition from high school to college.
