Karolis is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, class of 2008. Having majored in economics, Karolis is passionate about business and finance. While in college Karolis has started a technology business aimed at solving a simple, yet widespread problem with finding apartments on college campuses. Karolis is an aspiring entrepreneur, who seeks to one day help build and grow companies.

At Chicago Scholars Karolis is leading the Class Officers initiative aimed at building a stronger network of alumni, the future leaders of Chicago. Karolis spends a major portion of his fellowship researching and analyzing student debt load and financial aid levels, with a goal to minimize the amount of debt our scholars carry. He also creates content and maintains this website, optimizes it for search engines, creates marketing materials and helps Chicago Scholars create a presence on social networks, including Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
