Holiday Party 2009

The Class Officers of Chicago Scholars have done a great job again! The annual Holiday Party took place on December 21st, 2009 at Chicago Scholars and was titled "Wintery Blast from the Past". The theme highlighted the organization's recent name change and encouraged community members to reflect on the history of the organization between 1996 and 2009. Nearly one-hundred individuals were in attendance, including Scholars, parents, board members, and mentors.

Activities included a holiday card writing station for children in the hospital, games of Charades and Guess the Picture, a Wii computer gaming station, and tons of food and refreshments (including, of course, hot chocolate with marshmallows!).  Some lucky guests even won $10, $20, and $50 giftcards via raffle.
