Career Programs
Chicago Scholars strives to develop a talented pool of scholars to make Chicago a better place to live, learn, and work. We help dynamic, first-generation and underserved youth match with good-fit colleges and universities, achieve success in college, and graduate within four years. Through our Career Programs, we help these same scholars successfully transition into career paths that match their personal interests and long-term professional goals.
Our Career Programs contain four components-each of which are crucial to making the college-to-workforce transition an easier and more valuable process. They also help our scholars develop critical interpersonal skills needed for continued personal and professional development. The four components include:
- Summer Programs
- Career Consultant Mentors
- Internships and Job-Shadowing Opportunities
- Alumni Network
Please explore these components on the menu to the left.
