Career Mentoring Initiative

Career Planning

Chicago Scholars' Career Mentoring Initiative, in partnership with Chicago United, encompasses the final touch-point of our three-tier mentoring program.  The initiative provides college juniors and seniors the opportunity to meet with professionals from a variety of companies that interest them.  Oftentimes, our scholars simply need individuals to listen to their professional aspirations and life motivations to reach a new level of clarity, to boost their confidence, challenge their assumptions, and make the college-to-workforce transition a smoother process.

In 2010, Chicago United partnered with Chicago Scholars to provide our students with access to their Leadership Council.  The members will serve as mentors and role models helping scholars gain essential knowledge and skills they will need for various industry segments and professions.  Click here for more information about the partnership.
