Anna H. Siegler
Festival of Maps
Anna H. Siegler is executive director of the Festival of Maps. She has experience in community relations, including consulting for community organizations and senior administrative roles in corporate and not-for-profit settings.
Most recently, Siegler was a managing consultant with David Gomez & Associates, Chicago's largest Hispanic-owned executive search firm, where she focused on the firm's diversity practice, corporate board placements and community outreach.
Previously, she held positions with Nuveen Investments, the University of Chicago Medical Center and the University of Chicago's Office of Career and Placement Services. Siegler was also president of the Corporate Responsibility Group, a Chicago organization promoting corporate social responsibility. In 1996, she helped create Scholarship Chicago, a local education foundation, and currently serves on the foundation's board. She also is a member of the visiting committee of the College of The University of Chicago.
Siegler received a doctorate in history from the University of Chicago, studied as a Woodrow Wilson Fellow at Yale University and earned a bachelor's degree from the College of the University of Chicago. She is co-author of The Balancing Act, a book on balancing careers and families.
